The musicians of GHOSTHORSE, Tiokasin Ghosthorse, Charley Buckland and Dan Grigsby, and the album titled "Ksa" have been nominated for 10 Native American Music Association "Awards" for the year 2008.
Tiokasin, would like to ask you to vote either as "the public vote" beginning on August 1, 2008 or become an Advisory Member of the Native American Music Association and vote now. Help your favorite Native/Indigenous music artists finally win for all the hard work as host of First Voices Indigenous Radio on WBAI New York 99.5 FM. Tiokasin has volunteered tirelessly for 16 years, since 1992, to bring Native American/Indigenous thinking to the airwaves.

Advisory Board members have received a print ballot in the mail that will be automatically scanned and tabulated by an independent company.
NOMINATION & VOTING PROCESS: The Awards show honors national recordings that have been released in the previous calendar year. Nominees are submitted and selected by our national Advisory membership consisting of individuals directly involved in recording, manufacturing, distributing and promoting Native American music nationally. Winners are selected by a combined vote by our national membership and the general public who can listen and vote to the tracks of our nominees on our website Native American Music Awards Inc.
